A kind of dramatic mix this week, not sure why. Also will be out of town in 8 days, so #68 will be a few days late. 
In case you’re new or happened on here, I’ll explain. Every night, I pick a song of the day. I have a few methods for picking the song, but really it’s just something that in some way I feel like sharing, or represents the day somehow. Then, after 8 days, I can make a little mix on 8tracks.com. Then, PROFIT.
The mixes are usually quick – I hope not too repetitive (though I definitely choose my favorite artists more often). Also, I don’t put as much work as I might on other mixes, so songs may not flow or be quite unbalanced or whatnot. They’re just little snapshot mixes. But I do stand by all the songs! Thanks for listening.
In case you’re new here, every day I pick a sort of “song of the day.” After eight days, I’ve got a mix I can upload to 8tracks. This is my 38th week in a row doing this, and I still enjoy using it as a form of daily reflection. I’m sure that’s meaningless to all, so aside from that, it’s generally just a bunch of cool songs. 
A quick break from Laura Marling (another post later tonight or tomorrow) to share my LIMF mix. This one includes 2 artists I saw live last week, as well as my favorite Beatles song. Enjoy
Boom, the 13th 8-song set of my life. Lucky number 13! To recap if you joined this late, every night, I pick a new song that represents the day, I want to share, is cool, etc. I have a method to finding a song, but it a) varies and b) is a secret. At the end of 8 days, I have 8 tracks, which is the minimum for a new 8tracks.com mix, and I share them here for you. I don’t know how long I’ll keep doing this, but for now, it still entertains me. And I hope you enjoy the music.
My life continues on, with my song-a-day project. The last 8 days were highlighted by my not going to Coachella, and then regretting it while watching some epic performances on the Coachella youtube live stream. Next year, I’ll be back there!
